Mitra: The vedic solar deity. Keeps cordial relations with everyone. Divine friend and compassionate. More like Dharmaraja – Ajaatashatru.
Anooradha: The one that followed Visakha (Radha) – similar to Visakha there is a lot of struggles in life followed by prosperity.
Abhyaarohat: The one that is ascending. The native is a hustler and therefore prospering constantly.
Abhyaaroodham: Ascended and sitting on. The next nakshatra is Jyestha – which shows Indra sitting on a Throne.

Basic Information
- Nakshatra Deity: Mitra – one of the 12 Adityas. Mitra promotes good faith, cordiality and co-operation among people. He is the divine friend and lord of compassion. He is also the protector of Treaties (opposite of Agni, Krittika). Mitra means binding, contracts, treaties etc. – which may be upkept or broken.
- Symbols: The Triumphal Arch / Gateway (same as Visakha)-symbolizing Success and Achievement, Lotus flower- symbolizing ability to grow in tough conditions, A Staff – representing strength and safety, diamond.

Puranic Stories
Maitra-Varuna
- Varuna (Satabhisha) is an Aditya (12 Adityas) rules the darkest part of the night around 11pm-1 am. Mitra is another Aditya rules the brightest part of the day, the noon time, i.e., 11 am – 1 pm. Both maintain the cosmic order (Rta) and will balance the world.
- Maitra is the brightest part of the day – moon becomes completely invisible during noon even at the poles. During this time, people go to work and will earn money and prosperity. They will progress in their life gradually.
- Maitreya once visited Hastinapura to advice Duryodhana to avoid fights with Pandavas and give them their right. Duryodhana did not want to hear his words, kept tapping his thighs with his hands. Maitreya cursed Duryodhana to die in the war when Bhima's mace hits his thighs.
- Maitreya taught Vidura the spirituality and philosophy that he has learnt from Lord Krishna. Krishna taught Maitreya, when he decided to leave the world.
Yudhishtira (AjaataSatru) – Friend of everyone
- DharmaRaja (Yudhishtir) was an embodiment of Truth and honesty during Dwapara Yuga. These people are ahead of times, they are very honest. However, Duryodhana betrayed him many times.
- Yudhistira suffered many setbacks in life, lost his kingdom, went into exile, Agyatavasa, then got back his kingdom after a big war. Although he does not like war, he had to wage Kurukshetra. Although, these people do not like to go into war etc., they are forced to do it.
- DharmaRaja does not like to lie, Krishna asked him to lie – "Aswaddhama Hatah, Kunjaraha". Unless they give up honesty (at times) and be bad to bad people, winning becomes difficult.
- Yudhishtira was the only person who went to Swarga directly with body – even Krishna was not blessed so – Krishna died like a mortal. DharmaRaja carried a dog along with him – the dog was Yama (the righteousness). He was the last to die – very good life span. He was very healthy all through his life.

Agastya and Vasishta
- Varuna and Mitra liked same woman – Urvashi. There can be triangular love stories.
- Agastya and Vasishta both were born as Test-tube babies. Issues in child-birth, IVF etc. can be possible.
- Agastya is specifically the son of Mitra. Vasishta is regarded as son of Varuna. Agastya is revered as the most important sage in South. Shiva's marriage – Sage Agastya's travel.

Friends / relatives may betray him for this or may not reciprocate enough. Bothers more about the physical appearance. They can lead a change / transformation very capably. Handling extreme pressure and still be happy in life and will reach success.
Second House
Always tries to speak the truth. He is neither the richest in the group (not dominant) / nor very poor in the group. Of the proper middle-class type. However, does a lot of hardwork to go up the ladder.
Third House
Sibling has lost wealth etc., struggler / hustler – will re-establish himself / herself. Trying to be very honest at all times. Signs up treaties / contracts with people – will be tied in contractual terms and unable to perform due to the conditions – if afflicted. However, struggles and improves over time.
